half the people on the recession indicators trend are way off. the other half are so on point it hurts.

from having been a trucker myself 2017 until 2023, trucking job availability in a recession goes down because the amount of freight moving in the country goes down, & the supply of labour for trucking jobs goes up. people laid off from other industries/jobs look at it & think "i can do that".

so thats $21 dollars i'm spending per month for something medi-cal should be covering for me under durable medical equipment.

luckily i have ssdi now & can pay it. but still.

they won't allow you to try to prevent utis until you get one in the first place, but the last time i got a uti (previous to catheters at all) it ended with me in the hospital because the infection had spread & turned to sepsis.

same as medi-cal currently won't cover hydrophilic catheters, which would be a whole lot easier on me & mean not having to carry lube around at all, whether it is little packets or tubes.

i love how in order to get the generally accepted standard of equipment & supplies, i have to first have harm.

they told me it has to be specifically prescribed by my doctor's office, so they gave me the catalogue number. i emailed my doctor's office asking them if they can change the prescription, & then they said that unless i have more than two proven utis linked to catheter usage, medi-cal wont cover it.

ridiculous to lug around when a catheter is about the size of my hand & can just get stuck into a pocket.

so i bought single-use packets of lube to use instead.

i emailed the medical supply company to see if they could order those instead but.

annoyed at the costs surrounding some of the durable medical equipment i use (on medi-cal, which pretends that they cover all of the costs).

except then they give me these giant-ass tubes of lube that are longer than my hand & difficult to control the output. in general not useful.

if you cannot see that israel & the united states are the bad guys in this equation & that it's people who start the wars who we need to watch out for, you're an ignorant, brainwashed waste of grey matter.

it's no wonder the administration is so buddy buddy with russia.
