The Cardinals and Blue Jay paintings arrived yesterday and I immediately took them in to get custom frames. When I get them back in 2 weeks I'll post them.

I had a Brother CS6000i several years ago. It was a good machine for the price. Easy to use, never gave me problems. I gave it to my daughter when I bought a Janome. It still works.

One of my cats has stopped eating. We took her to the vet and he kept her overnight. He ran several tests and did an x-ray. The vet found nothing wrong with her so he sent her home with appetite stimulant, antibiotics and a steroid. This is day 4 and she still hasn't eaten. My heart is breaking.

It was mostly done in 2025. I only needed to square, sandwich, quilt and bind it. Still pretty quick for me though.

This quilt is made up of various color and tan 9 patch blocks. There is a grey border and a piano key border of the same fabrics as the 9 patch blocks.

I used the scraps from the first quilt, Wanderers Wife, and made the second one. I'm calling it the wanderers daughter. The wanderers daughter quilt is my first finish of the new year. #quilts
