This year's #kakapo breeding season has been the biggest on record:
- 256 eggs (252 in 2019)
- 148 fertile eggs (116 in 2019)
- 105 eggs hatched (86 in 2019).

I've been getting back into comics while I wait for more info from my concept job, and I thought I'd make a post about something very important to me, which is COMIC PANEL VARIATION and HOW TO THINK ABOUT IT.

a reddish brown toy poodle stands majestically in an all-white living room. her body fur is teased out into a magnificent squishy mass, but the fur on her head and paws is groomed short, so it looks like she has a tiny head balanced atop an orblike body. and that she’s balanced atop four tiny little catlike feet. the fur around her snout is white, because it has taken her a lifetime to perfect this flawless aesthetic.
