Not that I know of. It's been Fandom II since the early 80s (I started going in 81 or 82). Two guys ran the shop: one, I think, was Randy and he was always there. Can't remember the other guy's name. I stopped going before they moved to their final location. Sad to see them close.

A black-and-white closeup of a sculpture of strips of shiny metal that is shaped almost like some sort of nut shell. A seam to the left of the image shows that the sculpture isn't a single piece. This sculpture, by Quebec artist Marc-Antoine Côté, is entitled 'Il/elle n'a pas de nom,' which translates in English to 'He/she doesn't have a name.' It is located on the Ottawa side of the Alexandre Bridge, which crosses over the Ottawa River to Gatineau, Quebec. The sculpture is tucked just off the pedestrian/cycling portion of the bridge.

How was your day? I am utterly exhausted after a very active day but it's a good kind of exhausted.
Spent lots of time outside, taking full advantage of this fabulous weather, but now we're back to rain with cold temperatures returning.

I've been two bad car crashes in Barrhaven in less than 24 hours. This morning, an SUV flipped on its side and slammed into a pole. That can only happen at speed.

The last time I saw a great egret was in January, at Playa Matapalo, Costa Rica.
So, the Merlin app said my bird of the day is a great egret. "What are my chances of seeing one?" I asked DW as we arrived at the Bruce Pit.
Apparently, really good. I have some really blurred pictures: I miss my camera gear already.
