Looks like a very Welsh day at St Paul’s with the organ recital being played by the Assistant DoM of Llandaff.

Enjoying a few days in mid Wales. Who knew Machynlleth had a modern art museum. Well worth a visit, and some poignant political works to reflect on.
I was crying once they started singing Bread and Roses in the first half! Was a totally amazing production.
Speechless! Never have I laughed and cried so much at a production! #pride the musical is just prefect in so many ways!
Now that Holy Week is done, today I’m popping my ember cards into envelopes to post to friends and family.
Please pray for me as my ordination approaches, and if anyone would like one, please let me know!
Christ is Risen!
Words can not start to describe how wonderful it has been to travel through Triduum at Llandaff Cathedral this week.
Each year, it surprises me how different parts of scripture and liturgy speak to me.
Pasg hapus ✝️
Another moving service today at Llandaff Cathedral. Feeling truly blest to be spending Triduum in prayer there.
I don’t know how I feel! 🤣 But will give it a try, I love both.
Is that cheese inside your hot cross bun? 🤯
Grateful to start Triduum at Llandaff Cathedral this evening. Excellent music by @llandaffcathmusic.bsky.social. Music and liturgy intertwined this evening to lift my soul closer to the divine.
Rather bizarre feeling to attend the diocesan Chrism Eucharist today, as it’s likely my final diocesan celebration as a lay person! It has given much to reflect and pray upon.

Such great joy to be able to visit my curacy today, and spend time starting to get to know both the ministry team and the community that they serve.

St John's offers its warm congratulations to Rob Jones who is due to be ordained deacon in Llandaff Cathedral on Saturday 27th June. He will serve his curacy in the Caerphilly and Aber Valley Ministry Area with the Rev'd Emma Rees-Kenny as his Training Incumbent.
It was announced yesterday, that Bishop Mary has appointed me to be Curate of Caerphilly and Aber Valley Ministry Area following my ordination in June.
Feeling excited and humbled, and looking forward to what the future has in store!

More from day 2.
Some pics from Day 1.
Early this week, I had the opportunity to visit the Diocese of Uppsala as part of the link with @dioceseofllandaff.bsky.social. It was an extremely life giving and interesting trip, with much to reflect on as I prepare to start my ordained ministry.

Ni â’u cofiwn hwy.
Pontypridd stood in silence and remembered all the fallen this morning, in gratitude for all that they gave.

The annual day of waiting for a phone call. The relief of getting the phone call, and the car has passed its MOT!
On this #internationalchoristerday I give thanks for those who nurtured me musically, but also in my faith as a chorister when I was younger. I also thank God for all those musicians who enrich the churches worship Sunday by Sunday! Deo Gratias!

Time to move to equal marriage. A number of people thanked me for my address yesterday at the Governing Body, so here is the text in case it is of interest to anyone. It has to be acknowledged that not everyone agreed, but it's what I think.
