After having worked on it for ~4 years, it's huge to now finally take part in a #SteamNextFest! Feedback on the game has been solid locally, just need a global opinion now!
Being told by someone that they "would do unspeakable things to me" is one of the most scary and interesting things someone has ever said to me I think in a *very* long time.
Also one of the way more ego boosting moments of all time too, so there's that.
I do not know what to do with my life anymore. It all feels so... meaningless...

I swear when I mention my game and how I say the one thing it lacks is visuals, people say to me "Oh people don't care about that! They care about gameplay!". If that were true I should have wayyy more wishlists with how often I get told by a player that they have never played a racing game like it.

Quick update on Take The Wheels!, and what better way to do that than by taking part in @theindiebrew.com.au's "ANZ Indie Showcase Summer Edition" showcase!
What will be shown with Take The Wheels? Well... how does a reveal trailer sound? That's big right? And an interview as well?
Having a friend play my game and within the first 5 seconds go "Oh... OH damn, this is amazing. You've cooked with this game" is one of the most reassuring things I could hear after working on Take The Wheels! for over 4 years now. Can't wait until I have the visuals sorted out!

Recording game footage and having the realisation when coming to encode it after being edited that it was all cropped awkwardly... great fun! (thought it was a visual glitch in premiere's preview). Lesson learnt! Check OBS capture settings properly next time!
Exciting news for my game! I now have (somewhat) working AI/bot support! #UE5 Learning Agents are insanely good!
Bad news: I realised how heavily I built alot of game system's for having an actual player controlling the car, so been fixing all of that!
