"When an app combines these four features — solitude, bottomlessness, speed and teasing — it creates a kind of recipe for overuse for nearly everyone, Schüll says."
"I laid out above eight pounds of my money for a suit of superfine clothes to dance with at my freedom.
In short, the fair as well as the black people immediately styled me by a new appellation, to me the most desirable in the world, which was freeman..."

#Superfine
For me, it's like he stepped out of the exhibit (or gala) he co-curated "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style".
Colman Domingo has exquisite personal style but it also seems to be part of a very long lineage.

Many of the products going down our drains end up in the environment as byproducts of the wastewater treatment process.
While being mindful of which products we use can reduce these chemical compounds in the environment, fungi can play a role, too.

I heard a horrific story about this yesterday that involved dogs.
The depravity knows no bounds and even with video they're not being prosecuted.

In 2017, Benin launched a school kitchen program to keep children in school. Over the course of 6 years, the project grew canteens from serving 30% to 75% of schools.
Its effort has paid off as Benin was named world champion of school canteens by the World Food Program.

It's not. And so many kids go without lunch in UK too.
In the United States, some children go hungry if they're parents can't pay for lunch.
Meanwhile, in French schools:
Jaime Gardener, COO at Cardiff-based Cleverchefs Catering, said: "It's going to be very challenging if [the government] push it too far and force us into the world of lentils".

My conclusion from this is the British detest both food and children.
This is UK. Remember gop already reduced Michelle Obama's healthy meal initiative in schools. It's unprofitable.

It's really cool, especially the stemmas, which Tesnière created to map the structure of sentences in different languages.
They start very simple and then he shows how stemmas (sentence diagrams) can be used to visualize more and more complex sentences.
Wow, linguist Lucien Tesnière served in WWI, was captured and continued studying, teaching, translating and speaking a creole the POWs invented. He was cryptoplogist during WWII.
I'm sold on his style.
Open source translation of his book on universal characteristics of language.
