Naked eye in Nethy Bridge tonight.

Young friend of mine has just found this in the Nethybridge area of Highland this morning. No further details as yet #ukbirding

I remember the excitement as Tree Bubblebee colonised Kent. This individual was trapped in my greenhouse today in Nethy Bridge, Highland. What an incredible spread.

Phone pic of one of a dozen Large Red-belted Clearwings lured in my Nethy garden today. Clearwings are thin on the ground up here so a fairly notable record.

Although I these guys most years, it's always a thrill to find one in the garden trap.
