We appropriated Karen into the vernacular to mean a witchy woman
but what about Aaron for a slimy, sneaky bastard?
For real folks, I've never known a trustworthy Aaron in my life
Happy Earth Day! Happy to share a world with all y'all and these amazing creatures!

Meh. Patrick S Tomlinson is a basic twitter junkie. Guy's spent all his time slapfighting with the same group of trolls for years now, letting it ruin his life. Has long since stopped publishing any books or articles. I remember even back in the day he was always using follower count as a cudgel.
Nuke Alphabet and Meta, but that's preaching to the choir

One day I'm going to find the plant where Aldi slices their bacon and I'm going to go down there and fiddle with the machine until it finally starts cranking out consistent slices for the first time in history
Its biggest function was Billboard Holder by the looks of it.

So I read that piece about the Brave Browser guy hating gay marriage and I was like eh whatever lots of people did back then. But then I saw he's also a crypto bro and he invented (ugh) JAVASCRIPT. Way, way, way over the line. Time to download something else

I legitimately miss the old Endomondo. Strava sucks and it always has. Why has anyone ever paid for it? I think people just longed for an app to justify their purchase of unnecessary telemetry gizmos.
Equipped with NATIONAL SLUG REJECTORS. Holy shit, in that case, I'm in for five of em. Accept no substitute.
Anyway, the destruction of nuance in favor of this-vs-that continues unabated in Internet culture and I can't fucking stand it. Pro-skub and anti-skub until the end of time, way cool, I love it. There ya go folksch, that'sch the posht
Shit, I resisted buying an iPhone all the way up til 2013. I remember feeling ick vibes back in like 2007. Even at that time, it was apparent that techbros were vying to consolidate power. They knew they could wear you down by appealing to convenience. The older you get, the less patience you have.
When Twitter first came out, I already had years of Netizenship under my belt. I thought the concept was a social experiment testing our ability to express genuine thought within 140#. I was giving it too much credit - the idea wasn't in fact any deeper than "plaything for early smartphone adopters"
We are in a revived era of yellow journalism. Any notion of ethics went out the window 10-15 years ago. The average reporter is far more concerned about Twitter clout than anything else. (To say nothing of the editors.) They all have a goal of becoming paid strategists for their pol party of choice.
