Got my best friend to buy a softcover copy of Anzuelo by @emmartian.bsky.social. I'm so excited to share one of my all time faves anytime I can.

Ikkoku Nikki encapsulated so much of what I feel as a person and I'm glad such a story exists.

Ganbare Nakamura-kun is a sweet adaptation so far. Feels reminiscent of Seihantai's in that much of the appeal is the way that familiar material is processed, but unlike that one (and partly by necessity of such concise short material), it has a lot of original material to flesh out a cute romcom

A lot of people ask us "when is vol 2 coming out?"
So we are listening to the fans for 1 time.

Stop!! Hibari-kun! Vol 2 by Hisashi Eguchi will be out in July 2026. Vol 3 will be out in the winter. So by the end of the year the collection will be complete! For now, you can look at the cover.

All it would take is roughly 12 million people and a concerted supportive effort that would weather any blowback (monetarily, emotionally, physically) with enforcement of not crossing the picket line in any way shape or form with clear demands and this would all be a wrap

Thinking about how years of work just to get to this point really went down the drain with rejection after rejection being received and I just gotta take that and live with it. A dream just being that when it was for my family and the people I cared for more than anything else. It really is brutal.

I dont ever remember this being taught in schools because… why would they? It paints the US in “a bad light” which is just awful. I think this was something i learned about much much later on my own.

Its crazy how many of our atrocities are just hand-waved away like they never mattered or happened.

Fresh Start is OUT!!!!! It’s a lot of things — a mixed kid story, a gender story, a complicated family story, a friendship story, a love letter to anime tweens — but mostly it is RIDICULOUS and FUN and I’m so proud of it and so grateful to everyone who made it happen. AHHHHHHHHHH.

I'm very bad at posting, have a healed tattoo that I got to do recently 🥺

Lines and foreground shading healed a couple months with minimal touch ups, background shading about one month healed.

This is entirely baseless, but i have a theory about Arcane Season 2 that at some point someone said, “this should absolutely be two separate seasons, but with the way things are going with animation on streaming we may not get a third season. Better messy and done than forever unfinished.”
