Happy 20th to Okami
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
This painting, titled "L'escalier" (The Staircase), was created by French painter Marc Chalmé, known for his mastery of shadow and light, often compared to Vermeer. His work captures "still light" in landscapes, still lifes, and scenes like this.

Her office said the Office for Students (OfS), which regulates universities, had received reports of speakers and lecturers being harassed and blocked for holding gender-critical or religious views, of foreign interference suppressing academic freedoms, and of ideological belief requirements featuring in job advertisements.
The OfS will be able to use the new complaints scheme from September. From April, it will be able to fine universities the greater of £500,000 or 2 per cent of their income, which would amount to millions of pounds for large institutions, for breaches under the Freedom of Speech Act. Ultimately, universities could be deregistered for egregious cases.
Bridget Phillipson will introduce new laws to make it possible for Universities to be fined millions of pounds if they don't silence students who protest bigots invited onto their campuses. It's like the Tories never left office.

A black knit beanie hat with the Warmind and SIVA symbols from the Destiny franchise patterned in red around the body of the hat. There is a faux black leather tag on the brim that has the Seraph symbol and the words "Seventh Seraph : Warm-Mind" printed on it. The hat is laid flat over the Destiny Grimoire vol. 1 book which is also red with gold text on the cover.
A close up on the same black and red-patterned beanie hat, focusing on the ribbed and folded brim, and the faux leather tag with the Warm-Mind pun arranged like a merchandise logo.
Bungie might have moved on from my faves but I haven't. <3 This is my own home-brew pattern and I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. Happy Birthday to me!

Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet:
Screenshot of a procreate canvas showing a cropped drawing of a harpy-like monster with human teeth overlapped by an eagle's beak, screaming furiously.
Multiple sketches of the same harpy monster from various angles and with different expressions, showing how the human jaws and beak overlap and move independently.

Coloured digital drawing of a harpy-like monster with a set of skinless human jaws behind her beak.
random character design spotlight: Fortune the harpy. She owns a magic casino and traps people in debt servitude. I wanted to try the beak and human teeth thing and she's fun to draw.
short comic of two pages, done digitally in rebelle 7. depicts the scene of d*eath of leon s kennedy, and chris redfield’s (his husband’s! hello!) reaction to it. first page, four panels: 1. four portraits of leon, from different periods of life. the first three are readable as his appearances from the second, the fourth, and some amalgamation of the sixth game and the movies, all turned away from us. the fourth portrait looks like him in the last game, and he’s looking towards us. there are all kinds of lines and patterns around him, all hinting all the changes the character went through. the panel is all done in blue/green/deep red colours. 2. chris redfield’s portrait, looking down but straight at us. it looks like he’s on the verge of crying. (just like me every time i look at his silly crying potato face here). two red lines cross his face from the left, but only one is visible on the right. his portrait is mostly red in colour. 3. leon with his head on chris redfield’s shoulder. we can’t see neither of their faces. chris is with his back to us (wearing his big coat, collar up), and leon’s face is completely hidden by shadow. everything that’s in the light is gray-greenish-blue. there are two thin threads in the background, blue and green, they’re chaotic and messy. 4. leon, lying on his back, d*ead as a doorknob, looking to the right. everything is red and purple and strawberry sauce. chris’ hand is reaching towards leon’s.
the continuation of the comic. second page, two (more like three?) panels. 1. first one is a big panel where we can only see parts of leon’s and chris’ faces, and their hands (leon’s left hand is visible, scarred with t-virus), while chris is holding leon in his arms, all red and creepy in colour. there’s a wedding ring on chris’ left hand, and there’s a thin white thread going from it towards leon’s left hand that is hidden in chris’. there’s also a thin second panel added into the creepy one, with what looks like a photo taken in summer, of them both happy and smiling. the panel with their happy faces fits right into the panel with their faces on the creepy panel, like one is a continuation of the other. 2. the last panel. full-body image of chris holding leon (doorknob style) in his arms, with his cheek on leon’s head, his left arm on leon’s left shoulder, his right arm holding leon’s lowered left hand around the wrist. leon’s left eye is open, with a dim light in it. the white thread going from chris’ ring to leon’s is cut. the light from the sunny panel is the only bright light hitting chris’ figure. everything else is red and purple and black.

As so many of us have said so often for a year now, any predatory man already ignoring laws forbidding assault isn't going to obey a 'bathroom ban'. Making life harder for trans people and many others with restrictions which will be impossible to enforce will do nothing to make any women safer.
We have a chance of removing the Online Safety Act!
Any UK residents, PLEASE take the time to fill out the whole form. If we want to remove ID verification on websites that actually don't need it, we need to take action NOW!
NOBODY TALK TO ME I'M DRAWING DUMB SEAL TELEGRAM STICKERES ON A PLANE 🦭
A quick heads up; The UK government is currently holding a consultation on the Online Safety Act. The consultation lasts until the end of next month.
Please fill it out if you live in the UK and/or share it around to get more eyes on it.

Cotton quilt in mostly blue and purple squares arranged in various gradients
Close up image of the hand quilting in white thread
I finished my first quilt! It's all cotton. I made the top with a machine, but the rest is all hand-quilted. I was especially inspired by the art of Jessica Poundstone. The specific colors are just based on the options I had at the store (they didn't have anything nice-looking that was orange).
Happy 80th Birthday to the legendary Tim Curry! 🖤

The Free Speech Coalition is serious about starting an adult industry credit union. Part of this is being able to show regulators that enough people would use it, so please fill out this form if you're interested!
(Yes, credit unions can issue credit cards!)

yea actually i consider your blasé and uncaring attitude about needlessly killing and disposing of invertebrates in your home to be a reflection of your vital character
the most devastating experience for me is finding an amazing artist at a con and the artist Only has instagram on their business card. no bluesky no furaffinity, no tumblr or deviantart. Only instagram.
even if you go on a site just to post art then leave i beg people: please, crosspost your work
Hey seriously, literally in the bills it says they'll also use identifying information, such as your age data for "other purposes". That means your data goes into a government surveillance database. This would be for ANY *OS*, which is the thing your fucking PC runs off of.
Call your reps NOW.

Looming overhead amongst the the deep blue sky's clouds is a large cervid creature overgrown with vegetation and speckled with otherworldly glowing markings. #furryart #furry
