And lastly I saved this little yuzu tree. A few weeks ago my gardener was trying to throw it away cause it just looked like a dead branch but I learned my lesson from the cherry tree. Sometimes they look totally dead but with some love and fertiliser they come back to life

I also planted my first crop in a bed , yellow wax beans, and I am amazed at how big they are after a week of growth. I added a nutrients to the soil the week before, compost and then a tray from my worm farm. the worm farm does a better job than traditional compost and I’m going to get more.

But my trees are doing really well and my plum fruited for the 1st time this year and so did my dwarf peach and nectarines. This was what I could reach on the plum and we are definitely going to have to cut it down a lot since I’m so short. Dad was going to trim it anyway after I get the fruit.

I haven’t posted much about my garden this year because it’s currently under much construction. Me and dad finished the new garden beds but the long one needs a bit of love after almost 4 years and I hadn’t really planted anything.

Played out publicly with no regard to what it would look like to the public is wild to me.

I don’t think she was going to jail or anything like that but I wasn’t expecting that level of sympathy from the magistrate for someone who did something that didn’t need to be done.

If I breached the privacy of a client like that and yet somehow the police get a slap on the wrist.

I sometimes listen to court cases when I am working since you can watch the streams and there was a case I was following for a few months. I just watched a Melbourne police officer be fined $1000 for recording a video of a victim and keeping it on her phone and her laugh as soon as the magistrate

Sometimes I feel like I have split personalities. Part of me is an adult and part of me is a child and I’m basically parenting the part of me that thinks cake is dinner.

This. My entire desirability community is almost exclusively through twitter. I found out about a co-morbidity that has saved my life from twitter.

I know it’s fun to laugh at Twitter burning but a lot of disabled people essentially woke up to their support network being gone.

All of this right here. I’m thinking every “why are you still there” post is intentionally tone deaf at this point because we’ve long since explained why people might still be on the bird site despite flying the (un)friendly skies.

That’s why the bluesky ppl saying why stay over there are being fucking insensitive rn and annoying, some people legit make livelihoods from twitter.

It’s almost 3am where I am and I’m up because my brain decided to wonder if my medical expenses are tax deductible… well they aren’t.

So now I’m still up because I’m fuming that 25% of my income goes to taxes, another 25-30% goes to my disability
