Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in the Epstein files and it is incumbent on Canadians to demand an investigation into Canadians that did ‘business’ with Epstein. It is awful, it is uncomfortable, and it requires our courage to root out corruption.

is this an arguement against precautions or what are you saying? even if it was fully endemic, endemic does not mean benign. something this devastating to health being endemic would require MORE precautions, not normalization.
i will never understand 'bad thing is common so why try to stop it?'
So listen. We have this data. Showing hospital admissions for ‘resp’ infections 2x pre-pandemic. But ALL school absence discussions - see CBC! See the National last night! IGNORE growing illness as biggest absence factor (or ANY factor!). This is horrible reporting/journalism. /1
Canadian doctors obeying a U.S. executive order that doesn’t even apply to Canada is deeply offensive to both trans people and to Canadian legal sovereignty.
thank you @kneecapceol.bsky.social for blazing the trail
typos mean your opinion is correct and you win the internet. stay winning, hero

right, so the literal president and vp are not obigated to pursue justice againtst the pedo felon ex president but are also simultaneously perfect ambasdors for the people who should be elected in without question? that's your position?
and mind the gap
Canada has a choice to make: do what we need to do to save healthcare, protect workers, do right by people with #longCOVID, rescue the economy - or keep pretending it never happened, to protect a medical management class that stabbed us all in the back and now wants to cover it up.
UK inquiry 🧵:
hail to the thief was supposed to be some big statement against bush or blair or w/e but it was just 'oil and war maybe bad' or 'modern politics is corrupted by money i guess' with no depth. said as a lifelong fan until i found out about their genocide-denialism
first he warned us about the water. Now he's expanded his scope
you kind of do have to if you're going to post it as evidence. not that reason or evidence should stop you from having a good time online. it's a free website

andor and rogue one are the only exceptions for me. tbf i haven't read the books but all the other visual media has seemed completely mid. in a universe where anything could happen they made pod racing (we had the kessel run at home) and turned the force into biologic essentialism
damn, it really sucks that the education system has been butchered so badly. an informed electorate and basic media literacy might have prevented all this. instead i'm online talking to either a troll bot or a person who has no concept of causality 😔
except when they're learning about the most corrupt supreme court in history that aided the coming of a fascist president
well there's not much else going on so i can see how this is a priority
voters didn't choose him or the entire democratic party knee-capped him to have their favourite loser give it up to trump? the same people who refuse to even block a single trump nominee or move to impeach
she would have illegaly funded a genocide that contribited to the complete breakdown of rule-based-order that we're all living in today. why can none of you stans just admit that there were and are better people for the job?
yeah remember that biden failed to prosecute him properly for the jan 6 insurrection and none of this would be happening if biden or kamela had given trump a single meaningful consequence for his actions
"Biden became the presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party on March 12, 2024 by securing over 1,968 pledged delegates. Ultimately, Biden withdrew from the race on July 21 after losing the support of many Democrats because of age and health concerns "

Arrogance, ignorance, incompetence and failure are the defining characteristics of infection control leadership today. It's where Dunning-Kruger fails upwards.
The blood of millions is on their hands - and the inaction of medical disciplinary bodies makes loss of public trust the rational response.
Six years of being ignored.

CIDRAP: 'Study links long COVID in kids to worse grades, attention, and social life'
'The findings, drawn from the National Institutes of Health–funded RECOVER observational pediatric cohort, suggest that the impacts..extend beyond physical symptoms...'

that's not entirely fair. presumably we've never had cleaner hands anytime before the last 5 years
Canada's Covid strategy has been to not talk about Covid and vaguely encourage people to suffer quietly.
A lot of peds docs have just spent 5+ years telling kids that they should ignore COVID, and that #longCOVID doesn't affect them. The cognitive dissonance of realizing they've been wrong and harming their patients all along is a huge barrier. Maybe a dual approach - evidence but also impact? E.g:
