I whipped up the easiest pair of trousers the other day. Took me less than an hour, that’s how simple they are. And I love the cotton gingham fabric. Feels so light and breezy perfect for the sunny weather we’ve been having.

Another Aspen dress complete! I couldn’t resist this tropical banana denim, also by #fabricgodmother. I shortened the sleeves and skirt length, otherwise no changes. Can’t get enough of this sewing pattern, it comes together so well!

Made a bit of progress with the Patina blouse. I finally tackled the sleeve slit placket and my god was it a battle! But I persevered and succeeded. Coming up, all the fun bits of attaching the sleeves, sewing the sides and add on the cuffs.

Oh same! I’ve learned to be very forgiving to my own mishaps - the homemade look is part of the charm. At least that’s what I keep telling myself to keep me from unpicking the whole thing. 😆

It’s mostly in my head but I’m trying to better at sketching out my ideas and writing down step by step what needs to be done.
