a me made deadstock gray skirt from butterick 6196 that looked too Amish with a long shirt and too witchy with a chunky belt so a lowcut black blouse made it look more modern. I'm wearing some smoky me made earrings and a bracelet some of the earliest jewelry I made out of broken Charming Charlie pieces I strung together. None of the pictures taken in this series came out completely right because the cat was rolling around grabbing my long hem.
a $7 skater dress with an orange and black polka dot top and a swishy black bottom. This cut of dress isn't usually my style but I loved the collars. I think the collar and cuffs that seem a little batty shaped need an iron pressing though. Went to Goodwill after the doctor yesterday but off course the IIH kicked in today, no fun. The tortitude cat though is there for amusement.
This tortitude cat is ready for her close up Mr. DeMille. She's 14 pounds but not my biggest cat! Her boyfriend with the extra toes is 17 pounds. But the thrift dress and my me made bling look cute, too, but not as cute as her highness of course.
Tried styling this memade skirt 3 different ways #sewsky - too Amish, too witchy & finally the lowcut to offset looking so period piece! 🤣 Some of my earliest #jewelrymaking bling also & of course the pesky tortitude cat! I scored this adorable black & orange polka dot dress at Goodwill for $7! 🎃🖤
