I had the honour & privilege of meeting Stephen Lewis several years ago at a dinner with students after he delivered a speech at UNB. His intensity, focus, & command of his surroundings were deeply impressive, the depths of his compassion & commitment unquestionable, & his eloquence: extraordinary.

Did I miss the unequivocal condemnation by the #CarneyLiberals -- in no uncertain, wishy-washy, appeasement-oriented terms -- of the abhorrent threats to bomb desalination plants, or the ongoing commission of war crimes by attacking Iranian civilian infrastructure, by 45/47 & his cabal of criminals?

We don't need to worry about the Orange Turd's threats re making Canada the 51st State. The #CarneyLiberals are already doing that by cutting public service funding, removing wealth taxes, building the military industrial complex & favouring oil/gas, & private wealth interests over the environment.

I went to a funeral for a friend's husband where stories were told re his kindness, courage, loyalty, curiosity, compassion, humanity (e.g. a sometimes problematic stubborn streak), interests, friendships, devotion to family, & capacity for living in the moment. He lived well. I hope to do the same.
