Why aren't gov'ts (looking at you #CarneyLibs) demanding the files to ID nat'l security & criminal threats?

Both parties are pro-fossil fuel, pro-big business, willing to sacrifice the environment & public service, & prioritizing the economy over social good. They're leaving the Cons in opposition for the Con-lites in power.
Hey #CarneyLibs & #CanadianPremiers, how about investing some $ & political will in something like these + solar, wind, & hydro power generation? Plus education & (re-)training programs, so we have systems in place & Canadians who know how to install, operate, & maintain them, when the oil runs out?
