Last week, we welcomed our first visitor from the Palestinian city of Nablus to Brent since twinning in May! Amjad from New Askar Camp met Brent groups, shared his fantastic community projects, and described increasing challenges in the West Bank including raids and lockdowns by the Israeli army.
Yesterday, customers handed in letters urging Kenton Sainsburys to support the #DontBuyApartheid campaign ahead of its AGM this Thurs, 3 July. Shockingly, the manager refused the letters + wrongfully called police who confirmed our right to be there. Do better Sainsburys!

I've signed EDM 1424 condemning Israel’s unlawful interception of the UK-flagged humanitarian vessel Madleen in international waters.
The UK must uphold international law and demand the immediate release of all those on board yet to be released.
Aid must be allowed in to Gaza.
I’ve signed this letter alongside 96 others demanding sanctions on Israel for their repeated violations of international law.
More robust action must be taken. My Government can and must move further and faster to help bring an end to the devastating crisis unfolding in Gaza.
