AI can’t replace artists. It can’t replace crowds. It can’t replace genuine creativity and passion. It can’t replace the beads of sweat running down your face, ears ringing, straining to see where her fingers are on the neck of the bass, trying to figure out what chord she’s playing.

FUCK AI.

First & foremost, fuck AI. Secondly, go see live music, while it still exists. Go to small venues. Go to big stadiums. Go see music. See it. Feel it. Move to it - even just your toes & fingertips. Watch people succumb to the feel of the bass passing through them like gamma rays.

Yeah, TBIs are crazy and a wide spectrum of severity and symptoms. Some were evident right away - short term memory and word recall(!) were immediate. The onset of ADHD and more severe depression were slow to appear. At least I can remember strings of numbers longer than 2 digits now!

A morning of contrasts on this day …

The TBI + ADHD combo is a crazy cocktail. My brain is kinda like those sketchy illegal DIY drag strip race cars. If you can get it to start and run … good luck keeping all four wheels going in the same direction and hold on tight.

I remember eating honeysuckles as a kid, growing up in AL. Pulling the long center stamen out from the bottom of the bloom & sucking the nectar - like an oversized hummingbird. My daughters thought I was lying when I taught them how to do it too - decades later, in CA. My two little hummingbirds.
