Looking good on Bennerley marsh this afternoon. The river is extremely high and has gone over at one spot. The sightings highlights were 14 Goosander and a Barn Owl (hunting over the road ). #NottsDerbyBorderBirding
Water levels high again on the marsh. A gloomy day with low light & blustery showers making it fairly difficult to see. A productive little session this afternoon.

A nice post work stop-off at Bennerley Marsh. There's now water back on the marsh which is attracting more birds, also an abundance of fungi about.

beautiful autumnal afternoon at Bennerley Marsh. The marsh is still dry following the summer. Still a few birds to see, the highlight today was a Red Kite flying over. A couple of Dragonfly still flitting around too. #NottsDerbyBorderBirding
Still a bare patch of dry ground at BennerleyMarsh. Despite looking totally devoid of life today there were a few things about with numbers down, the best been 4 Little Egret. The strong wind keeping most things low down or on the ground.
2 Yellow Wagtail and a singing Common Whitethroat (by Newton Lane gate) at Bennerley Marsh the highlight of this afternoon.
