I shuffle and match up the slips until every request is matched to an offer. Then I double check the assignments, and send out each assignment email one by one.
It's beginning to look a lot like pokexchange... (hand matching, my beloved)
This is the first year I'm typing up the matches to sort instead of writing them all by hand. It's faster and easier on my carpal tunnel, but it's less fun... I miss writing out everyone's names.
I just love Pokémon so much and I get so excited seeing everyone's sign ups and talking to everyone else who loves Pokémon as much as me 😭
If they aren't out by the 20, I'm having surgery on the 21, so they'll be out the 24. Other deadlines will be pushed back accordingly as needed.

Unlike most modern exchanges, pokemon is such a sprawling franchise that I do matching by hand. Because of this, matching emails may not go out until the 20. (1/2 🧵)
