I wish I could make a living as a professional author. Maybe I can lay the groundwork now so I can do it once I retire. There’s something so magical about developing a strong main character, putting them in unusual situations, & letting them work their way through it. Telling stories is so much fun.

I’m a little upset at this.
I use ZeroGPT to check if audiobook audition scripts are AI-generated, so I thought I’d check a few lines of the romance novel I’m writing in the detector, and this is what I got. WTF!
Every word written out of my own imagination, and the detector thinks otherwise. UGH!
Ivy stares at the photo caption, weighing whether or not she should hit submit. She sighs, rolls her neck slightly, and deletes the caption. Maybe she should try her best to make this work.

Save the Cat is my favorite, as I have the the Writes a Novel, Writes a Young Adult Novel, and Writes a Screenplay versions.
I just sat down at my computer and wrote 3,000 words in Chapter 1 of the mainstream romance novel I'm working on, and it felt good. 🙂
I love putting two characters into a situation, and let their dialogue and personal discoveries determine where the chapter goes.
