Good morning, Rochester
You will never convince me that bedside rounds are a net benefit for patient care.
Hard to see how the NYU MSTP recovers from the reputational hit of pausing admissions and rescinding prior acceptances, especially at this point in the cycle.
Absolutely bizarre and callous move by the leadership.
Merry CRISPRmas to all

$1 Billion Donation Will Provide Free Tuition at a Bronx Medical School
Dr. Ruth Gottesman, a longtime professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is making free tuition available to all students going forward.
Eerily similar (read: virtually identical) room layout to my first exposure to flow at UMass
The Bronx doesn't need more warehouses and logistics centers. It needs more grocery stores (and higher quality ones at that), like the one this will replace.

I am once again asking Snapchat to stop suggesting I add my deceased former colleague as a friend
"How can we, as scientists, become more effective at communicating specific scientific issues in a timely manner?"
“We should not assume the College Board is acting in the country’s best interest by lobbying for the expansion of this,” Mr. Cohen said. “What are the other things you could be doing if you weren’t investing money in expanding access to A.P.?”
Congratulations to Ned Blackhawk and to the guy jumping up and down in excitement for Ned Blackhawk
