A painting that’s inspired by fallen angel alexandre cabanel. It’s a man with angel wings behind him he is hiding behind his arm that are stretch and flexed in front of his face. All you can see are his eyes and he stares with rage and tears streaming down his face. He has top surgery scars that are outlined with gold. He also has a gold circle behind his head. To the top right of him there’s a quote from the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley that reads “I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other.”

One of my favorite pieces to date I couldn’t get this idea out of my head and I’m so proud of how it turned out. Inspired by fallen angel alexandre cabanel
