I customized Claude Code's spinner verbs with an AI Engineering theme.

Didn't expect it to get this self-aware.

At least it's honest about it.

speechify extension control panel

speechify extension control panel

Speechify's extension lacks keyboard shortcuts for skipping chunks of text or adjusting speed while reading a page aloud.
Their web app has shortcuts but strips images and other information from pages.
I solved this. Is anybody interested in knowing how? #Speechify #accessibility #productivity

🛑 Stop reading PDFs like it’s 1999. Static pages = eye strain + losing your place.

WeaveReads adds Guided Word Navigation that groups words for natural eye movement—less line re-reading (“regression”). 🧠

2/🧵Carousel also supports multiple screenshots per feature. This is getting dangerously close to a PowerPoint presentation.

1/🧵My app’s welcome page now has a 12-feature carousel. Because apparently, I thought onboarding should feel like a Netflix season.

I’ve added a Vocabulary page to my AI language tutor app.
Now you can review all saved vocabulary in one place, expand each item to see the definition, example, context, level, and date, filter and search words.

I do too. It's always well deserved 😄

Giving the Agent superpowers. 🦸‍♂️

I’m migrating features from static buttons into the Chat.

Ask to "extract vocabulary," and the LLM detects the intent, calls the tool, and returns structured CEFR levels + definitions, and you can save the words.

🆕 Update: The Language Tutor now has memory.

I also built a retrieval tool that lets you query your previous grammar mistakes.

• User asks for past errors • Agent queries vector DB (Chroma) • Returns a structured review list 👇

🚨 Update: I’ve integrated the grammar checker right into the chat. You can now converse naturally, get instant feedback, and—crucially—the app tracks your specific mistakes (stored via Chroma) to help you review them later.

1/🧵New update for my AI language tutor! 🤖✨
I’ve added a Vocabulary Extractor — it scans the text you write, finds tricky or new words, checks their CEFR level, and gives clear definitions with usage examples.

If the text has no mistakes, the checker just acknowledges that and congratulates you 👍

I added a new feature to my AI language tutor app: a grammar checker ✍️✨
You write some text, press a button, and the app shows what’s wrong, how to fix it, and explains the rules.

Phase 2 is now complete 🚀

It requires some thought, but it's worth it. Not only variables, but also functions, classes, file and folder names. You read your code more than you write it, so you'll thank yourself more than once

you are rigth AI is writing code with emoji in logs, but it learned it from somebody 😀

5 months ago 1 0 1 0

It's useful to assign tags to your logs, colors, types, emoji is another way of making it easier to discern different kinds of logs. I'd say picture is the best way to do this, because our brains process visual information more efficiently than text

And now the opposite direction works too. 🙌📚

Yes, turning off the phone works. But you are replacing phone with the board for distracting you. If you really want to focus on something you have eliminate distractions. I know that attention shift is costly for productivity. That would be my advice

5 months ago 2 0 0 0

The page is great. Except minor thing, image position tracker in multi image scrolled should not cover the images. I know that phone checking is bad for focus, even when it's near. Your eink screen is also a distraction, but always on. Sorry about bad news
