In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

Our culture’s inability to believe women has brought our democracy to its knees.
Whether you believe in any of that, now is the time of year to listen for movement welling up from the earth, for it is cleansing sunlight and the warmth surging from deep in the soil that breaks up ice and drives it away. /fin
