My 3yo's favourite game to play with me this week- phonics car park!
I line up some cards and say one of the sounds, then he parks a car on the right card and says the sound. Endless fun!

I've had that too! So frustrating.
Three bits of poor observation feedback I had early in my career:
1) Despite there being phonics flashcards in my mentor's classroom, I should have printed/ laminated my own.
2) I must choose a group and sit with them for the whole lesson.
3) Make the children guess the WALT.

Something I've done is display the problem but cover the numbers, then discuss the problem together. When they have a method for solving, show the numbers and all children can then solve using the shared method. :)
That's great to hear! Glad they're useful!
Thank you! I have several others that I've made as well. I've tried to put the words in appropriate places for each word to lead onto discussion about what the words might mean.
How many rainforest-themed words can you find hidden in the picture? #EdySky #PrimaryEnglish
Good plan!

A few years ago, I made about 200 of these daily maths puzzles aimed at Year 6 and using the combined knowledge taught in KS2. mrsfclassroom.wordpress.com/2021/05/02/d...
