They don't really look like much, but it's difficult to describe the impact of these experiments. Many of our colleagues were quite surprised that this kind of thing could actually work. All that we'd done before—Mindgame, Animatrix, going back to Noiseman and Extra—was considerably less complex.

It was one of the first shots, and I think we all felt enormous relief seeing this projected for the first time, in Imagica’s #2 screening room 😅
