Obamas, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush Among 1,500 Books Banned in Texas School District Barack and Michelle Obama have joined the ranks of banned authors thanks to a sweeping ban of 1,500 books from Texas Hill Country.

New Braunfels ISD in Texas used an AI program to try to comply with Texas law SB 13. The result? The banning of some 1,500 books including celebrity memoirs, books by former presidents, and dozens of canonical classics.
