Back in the day I'd do that kind of thing for x86 with reverse engineering tools like idapro, radare2, ghidra, binja, and binnavi but I haven't really used any of them in years. I think binnavi was the best at graph operations over asm blocks and probably has some papers available with algorithms

For 1000xRESIST the final section isn't mechanically challenging (it's basically a "pick an ending" room) but it asks the player to reflect on the game and its themes before making a series of choices that feels much more like an exam than a victory lap.
It's remarkable that 1000xRESIST has a Final Exam even though the game doesn't really have any failure states.
