That's wonderful. Wish it hadn't taken so much to get you there - but you're there!

Dumplings, dumplings, dumplings.
There can *never* be enough dumplings.
This guest recipe reminds us of the joy when you look forward to something & it turns out just as planned. A keeper from first try and Meera's right, Marmite forms a salty, savoury back-note for the tomato chilli butter's sweetness and fire.

It’s Blue Shirt Day 2026.
There are 22,000+ political prisoners unlawfully detained in Myanmar suffering brutal conditions and torture in cramped cells.
We call for the immediate release of all political prisoners!

In case there haven't been quite enough red flags and alarm bells, here's another clear warning about Reform 🚨
"Reform UK will tell Welsh museums how to present history, manifesto says."

Ugh, hope it's manageable for you.
That's one heck of a lot of tree fluff!
Excellent haul!

I looked forward to collage club every week, from learning new things to having a sage and encouraging atmosphere! | 100% recommend
I really enjoyed the balance of guidance but also the ability to do whatever we like and interpret the theme ourselves.
"Thank you - the course was excellent! I love the themes we covered each week and the introductory slides with different examples of collage were always helpful and gave a really useful insight into each theme. The relaxed, creative collage making sessions were so fun and inspiring"
Tickets are now available for Collage Club events throughout May, June and July: www.creatrixcymraes.com/shop/p/colla...
Did ours on Friday. LC's "helping" was topped off by rolling around on the newly put-on bottom sheet, depositing gobbets of his officially* gorgeous fur as he went.
*Status conferred c/o its description in his rescue centre bio - and it's stuck
(Tiptoes in cautiously) Good morning....
Safe & happy travels - just don't tell Daphne what a good time you're having without her
Happy birthday & congratulations to him🥂🍾
🤣🤣
Lovely choice for her!
A Corgi model Ocado Progress Van. Ocado's Partners In Pride LGBTQ+ network requested dedicated ‘Progress Vans’ be launched in their delivery vehicle fleet. It represents updated version of the widely LGBT Rainbow flag. The Progress design of six-coloured fruit in stripes is to emphasise inclusion, diversity and progression with added five-coloured chevrons: black and brown stripes representing marginalised LGBT communities of colour, plus pink, light blue and white used on the Transgender Pride Flag. The chevrons on the left of the design represent those living with HIV/AIDS.
....although we did get this one with the 'free van, choose your variety' offer. No sub there! Doesn't have much room for delivery, mind.
We can dream😂
Progress van!!! Saw that going down Moorland & M NL said "Bet she's had that! Plum, fig, fig grrrr".

That's great work, well done him & all!
sitting with takeouts from nearby Waterloo Teahouse - who also open the converted Ranger's Hut to sell gelato on sunny days. Chatted to a Council gardener working on the formal beds one day. She stopped, looked around & said, "You know, I like this park especially of all of 'em. It's for everyone".
Ha yes, occasional mallards come 1.5 miles downstream from Roath Park Lake. Herons & Little Egrets visit, water voles were seen before the flood scheme - the brook's tidal, leading to the Rhymney & Severn Estuary. Depending on the time of day, it's a park of peace, picnics, games, dogs with sticks &

Today is Burmese New Year’s Day.
It’s the year 1388 (၁၃၈၈) of the Kawza calendar and the *sixth* new year since the military coup in Myanmar.
Once again, I pray that this year finally sees an end to the dictatorship, victory for the revolution, and peace for our land and our people 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💛
A photo of Waterloo Gardens. Roath Brook is in the centre, its banks are green with plants and only a little grey stone is visible. The mature trees on either side are coming into leaf. From the right, a red brick and grey stone flood wall with a black flood gate runs along the back of the bank. Houses in Waterloo Gardens and its junction with Stallcourt Avenue are behind, where the black-railed bridge over the brook leads.
A photo of Waterloo Gardens showing features installed as part of the Roath Flood Scheme. Natural Resources Wales needed to connect the pathways and a raised bridge across the new flood walls. requirnng an elevated pathway and access ramps. Landscape design made this into a feature "dias area" space which was greened in response to public consultation. Steps of pennant stone slabs with black wood-topped handrails on either side lead to a semi-circular pergola constructed using columns of pennant stone and beams of seasoned wood. There is green planting to either side of the handrails and around the pergola. A classic green park bench can be seen against the pergola and a mature tree in early leaf to the right of it.
Restorative walk through Waterloo Gardens yesterday. So good to see the hard landscaping soften, as naturalistic planting re-establishes season-by-season and Roath Flood Scheme's walls age. No kingfisher's azure flash this time - but they're there.
"I would rather w**k with a razor".
Pretty clear response from bloke in Wales when asked if he would consider voting Reform...
The man from Reform (who took it in good spirits tbf) is Zak Weaver, a former Tory staffer who defected in February.
Very frustrating when expectations aren't fulfilled, especially when a) no one FoH flags at the point of ordering that something's not available or subbed, so choices can be changed accordingly or b) missing elements aren't subbed with similar, leaving a sense of an incomplete dish.
Spotted Plaid, Lib Dem & the odd Labour in Roath. So far, had most mailings from the turquoise mob & only been doorstepped by Plaid.
Yup, same.
Great the MRI's been moved to fit into life.
Ours all crossed for you too🤞
That's so very Awww!
On the way home from the cat rescue centre, LC put his paw through his carrier door & held on to Mme's hand. He still does it nightly on the sofa. Gets an Awww every time.
