NEWS! In November I'm off to Reykjavik for Iceland Noir's #AgathaChristie Day - alongside Chris Chibnall (who adapted Seven Dials for Netflix recently), Lucy Foley, James Prichard, John Curran and Kelly Mullen. Apparently timed to give us the best chance to catch the northern lights, too...

OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.

Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

The Doctor looks at Kamelion, bored

Reached Planet of Fire, such a low-energy bore. I don't want all your dull chat about your gods or whatever! Mind you, I don't even know what the story is really about as I slip into unconscious by the end of the first episode #DoctorWho

And if I said a surprise bonus episode is not out of the question, what then?

The Gate of Baghdad is great, and the BBC radio adaptation with Patricia Routledge is one of my favourites

Finished S6 of Murder, She Wrote - I can live with the occasional bookend episodes but it's obviously excessive here. And why not make more use of the Cabot Cove regulars for them? Seth on a cruise! Mort visiting his New York relatives! But the thing I can't stand is all the mafia/mob eps. Boring!

Annie Jones, who played Jane in Neighbours, just mentioned an upcoming auction for one of the most iconic pieces of 80s art - Mrs Mangle’s portrait.

Imagine owning this! Iconic!

Just worked out that we have released 32 episodes of #SwingingChristies so far. There is 1 surprise one in the bank(!!) = 33. We recorded for 2 more this weekend so 35. Then there's 1 ep of #Westmapod released, with another 1.5 ready, and 1.5 more recorded, ready to be edited. So 39 total

Worth watching (Sheila Hancock!)
This used to be available on BFI Player but has long since vanished. I’ve been kicking myself for ages for not taking the chance to watch the Redifussion Erpingham Camp when it was there too.

(Joe Orton tv plays boxset, please and thank you)
