Text reads: Labour Party facing legal action A trans woman is suing the party for refusing her entry to the Labour Women's conference The former CEO of Translucent, Steph Richards, has announced she is seeking legal action against the Labour Party for banning her from attending the party's upcoming Women's Conference in September this year. She is currently raising funds to support the action - Crowdjustice
It was announced at the end of last year that trans women will be barred from the main conference hall and voting rights denied, though they will be permitted to attend some fringe events

Sending solidarity and best wishes to the Birmingham Bin workers. It's outrageous that the council hasn't resolved this dispute. There hasn't been any negotiations for months. Well done @unitetheunion.bsky.social for saying you will pull funding from the Labour Party due to this debacle.

Labour's attempt to remove our right to a jury trial in thousands of cases - including protest related offences - is a serious attack on our civil liberties.
That's why the Green MPs have tabled an amendment to reject it.

Now Palestinians in Gaza again face enforced hunger after Israel closed all crossings into Gaza, with humanitarian groups warning supplies will last only a few days.
End the siege. Let food in.
The govt must do more than express concern over the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements and settler violence in the West Bank - they must take action.
Ban trade with illegal settlements and impose new sanctions on Netanyahu and all responsible for this violence.
