Jutussa Aallon professori Jukka Manner arvioi, että datakeskusten tuoma sähkön kulutuksen kasvu nostaisi sähkön hintatasoa. Jutun mukaan voisi nostaa yleistä kustannustasoa ja sitä kautta heikentää taloutta.
