To tackle #AMR we need need b̳o̳l̳d̳e̳r̳ ̳a̳p̳p̳r̳o̳a̳c̳h̳e̳s̳ that integrate #practice, #policy, and #science - and brings all stakeholders, including communities, to the table!
‼️ It’s not a topic of not enough information and awareness ⏩️ it’s about better information - in research, prescription & use!
We advocate for a #participatory investigation of deprescribing opportunities. And we argue for a #systemic, #multilevel, and #comprehensive approach to antibiotic resistance #AMR that engages the many stakeholders involved.
Our #deprescribing approach includes considerations of #appropriateness & #overprescribing, and focuses on #CommunityOriented and #PrimaryCare. It also includes #patient #participation.
