Since I'm apparently stuck in this little corner of the matrix today:

so much so that people who are "undetectable" here, can be labelled "cured" there and after a year or more of "undetectable cured" they can safely stop taking meds until something medically significant happens. Whereas, I think, in the US, our theory is that the virus replicates no matter what. (?)

Not sure if still true (or ever was for that matter) but I read a social media post many years ago from a reputable someone who casually mentioned that the the US is very different from Scandinavian countries in what they consider to be "cured" (1/2)

I really find it alarming that parole board members and even some judges don't seem to be very informed about the most life-altering cases before them when it's all clearly available for public consumption.

After reading so many articles and hearing so many podcasts on the subject, you start to learn the difference between the voices and speech patterns surrounding the legitmately, wrongfully accused/sentenced and the prisoners who just don't want to be there for their own denialist reasons.
