Did you hear that? It’s the sound of millions of wallpapers changing to photos of the moon.

Sheesh, that’s really pretty. I assume it’s able to be configured as the default diff view for git? How about jj, or is that not configurable yet..

My favorite part of the Claude Code leak is the ā€œfrustration detectorā€. It’s just a long list of profane words, and any response with one of those words gets logged.

Pulling back the curtain on a magical, industry leading AI product reveals… a glorified word search?

I grew up on the internet but it’s still confusing to see the pitchforks come out for the most minor things.

Bluesky is an opportunity to reinvent social media and with that opportunity, a bunch of people think ā€œwell maybe I still want to just be angry šŸ˜¤ā€.

The Mazda CX-5 I recently bought was about $25k used; you can’t yet get an EV with a reasonable mileage (300+) on that kind of budget.

That said, they’re getting more practical quickly (competition & solid state batteries), and had I not been budget constrained I would have got an EV.

I love watching the jetstream, feels stalkerish to see stuff that hasn't passed "the algorithm" yet

Back when, I took a bee-swarm light node and ran it on an iOS device. Too many limitations and I think, frankly, it didn't make much sense to have the phone act as a server in that way. The PDS-on-a-device thought is interesting, but it probably needs to not be a *mobile* device.

@standard.site every implementation of comments I've seen piggyback off a Bluesky post. I think comments have slightly different needs, like quoting/highlighting, and it might not always be desirable to have a full Bluesky thread.

Any thoughts on a lexicon for those?

Well, it's literally called "standard.site".

Kidding - it's so awesome. Hope it can expand to define other lexicons, publishing-related and not.

We saw it last night at a 10:20pm showing. Thought my wife and brother would doze off.

Nope. All of us were glued to the screen for the full runtime. What an incredibly well done film!

iA Presenter Write it. Show it. Rock it. A fresh, fast and fun way to create and hold presentations.

Check out iA Presenter: ia.net/presenter. Not Atmospheric, but I’ve respected iA for a long time. It’s a good tool for taking a story and pulling that story together with slides.
