I love how in Poland breweries have proper restaurants rather than just serving food

I went to Browar Księży Młyn for dinner tonight in Lodz and the food was absolutely incredible. My ravioli was one of the best meals I've had this trip! 🤤

Another great beer spot in Wroclaw, which is conveniently located in the Old Town, is Bistro Stu Mostow

With 20 beers on tap and a delicious food menu, it was a good place for dinner and craft beer without having to leave the tourist spots

Went to a really amazing restaurant for dinner last night. Konspira is a great place to eat that also feels like you've entered a museum of the underground resistance against communism during the post war era

Found a great place for beer in Wroclaw

Zloty Pies is a great place in the Old Town where you can get some great craft beer and some delicious food

Bonus point: all their beers are dog themed 😍

Today I arrived in Wroclaw, or as I like to call it, Gnome City

This city in Poland is known for having over 1000 dwarf / gnomes around the place

It's great fun to try and search out as many as you can

By the end of the day I managed to find 62 🔎

Left Gdansk for Bydgoszcz today and had fun walking around the city. It's not too big so an easy place for a day trip from somewhere like Poznan

But for us, we're using it as a base to see Torun tomorrow (because trains from Gdansk to Bydgoszcz are more frequent)

Went to an area called Zaspa in Gdansk today to check out some cool street art.

It might look like a normal housing estate but there are giant murales all over the place with over 60 in total

It's fun to get away from the crowds and just walk around

Went to a brewery restaurant in Gdansk last night because I was told I had to try some Jopenbier while I was here

Jopenbier is a traditional Gdańsk beer, dating back to at least the 15th century

Plus they also have some good food here and more traditional beers to try

Today I got to tick a bucket item off. I finally visited Malbork Castle 😍

It's the world's biggest castle by land area and absolutely stunning

You can take tours here but it's easy to get yourself there. Just a quick train from Gdansk and then a short walk to the castle

Labeerynt is a nice bar with 15 beers on tap plus a fridge

And Pulapka Craft Beer and Pizza has 14 beers on tap and some delicious pizzas 😋

I've found my new favourite beer spot in Warsaw... Beer and Bones

Not only do they have a great selection of craft beers, but they play metal music and have skull decorations everywhere 🤘🍻❤️

And the fact that they had an earl grey ipa proves it's designed for me 😅

The final beer stop of the night is Piw Paw Beer Heaven and oh boy did it feel like being in beer heaven!

They had an astounding bar with 70+ beers on tap 😯😍 plus I loved how the walls had bottle caps all over them. It was very cool 🍻

Next beer stop was Hoppiness. A great place that wasn't too far from our hotel (perfect)

They had a decent tap selection and a fridge too. Plus they had a good food menu. I really enjoyed my bao buns 😋

When work sent me to Stafford I wasn't expecting much of a craft beer scene but the town proved me wrong!

My absolute favourite was a place called The Ship Aground. Great beer selection on tap and even more in the fridge. Plus a very good selection of Vault City beers 🍻

I had one day off so one morning away from work for a nice cafe breakfast

I went to where the locals recommend, French and Byrne, and I can see why they loved it 😍

After ordering beers from the company for 6 years it was nice to finally go & see the first bar

They had awesome beers on tap, a fantastically stocked fridge and you can order local pizza to have at the bar 😋

Today I was supposed to fly to Kuala Lumpur to have an adventure in Asia but because the layover was in the Middle East the flight was cancelled

To make up for it I took Boyfriend to The Strand (a happy place for me as I love Budvar) and had food for the first time and damn it was good!

I read a lot of books set in France and this was definitely one of my favourites. Loved how much French vocabulary it teaches you too
