Low level wild pokemon causing more grinding than usual holds it back from being the undisputed champ, but the soul in this game is undeniable

@polykillpodcast.bsky.social I #justbeatit Ico. I've been wanting to play this game since it released over 20 years ago. Im glad I finally did because I absolutely loved it. 100% USDA approved choice PS2 vibes. I basically spent the whole time muttering "this is awesome" to myself over and over.
Unfortunately EA puts all its efforts into the micro transaction gambling modes. The gameplay is a mess and has been for years. The single player modes have had features stripped out for years. PS2 maddens are much better in every aspect except graphics.

I'm new to the trails series. I played Sky FC on PC earlier this year. I'm interested in the remake but since I just played the OG I don't need it right away. Do you know if Trails games generally stay in print? I could just preorder the standard PS5 version now but just don't know if I need to.
