Knowledge is like money: to be of value it must circulate, and in circulating it can increase in quantity and, hopefully, in value.

Shame the Tories couldn’t actually come up with any better ideas and just opposed for the sake of it!

😀 Swindon has been shortlisted in the #LGCAwards 2025.
Our ‘Most improved council’ entry drew on feedback from residents, colleagues & the views of Ofsted & the LGA to evidence progress in improving services, strengthening engagement & our organisational culture.

“Each of us has a unique opportunity to create something right where we are. It doesn’t require special authority, a fancy title, or the corner office.” - Clay Scroggins
Happy New Year All
Volunteers and Working partnerships are making this possible. The Penhill street reps, Swindon night shelter, Swindon borough council, central north Swindon parish council, sugar shack, Swindon car & van hire and supported stores through neighbourly.

One of the perks of being a cllr is being asked just to attend local community events.
Absolutely lovely evening ❤️
Was great to swing by CSNPC Winter wonderland
A lively SBC full council on Thursday, with the second motion in consecutive meetings from the Tories seeking to attack the national government rather than focusing on Swindon issues. So @jimrobbins.bsky.social decided to lay out some facts... www.facebook.com/labourswindo...

Attending a parkrun is like being a cllr, it’s never about you and always about the amazing volunteers that turn up in all weathers, it’s also about the people you run with, who need encouragement or encourage you to push for more.
