Max size ~78 cm (30.7"), possibly even more. Females tend to be larger than males.

Found in forested areas in sub-Saharan Africa as far south as Angola.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.

Personally it makes a huge difference for me, I can’t really suit without a fan

Pink pterosaurs, pink water. A flock of pterosaurs adapted for filter-feeding soar along a Jurassic coast undergoing a phytoplankton bloom, exposing the source of the pink carotenoids that they sequester into their fuzz to make their bodies and faces pink. Marine carotenoids would have been especially common from the Mesozoic onwards, and it's very plausible that animals like pterosaurs would have picked them up in their diets.

Still alive as work on Book 7 enters the last few days, though I am quite sleep-deprived. And which joker organised daylight savings so close to my deadline? Thanks, jerk.
