ZIDAS 2026 This one-week school provides a hands-on introduction to image processing and analysis, with an emphasis on biologically relevant examples.

We are happy to announce that this year's SwitZerland's Image and Data Analysis School (ZIDAS) edition will take place in person at EPFL July 5-10, 2026.

We are looking forward to an interesting and inspiring week of bio-image analysis. The application process will start soon.

Finally had a bit of time to play with multi-GPU deconvolution. Using @truenorth-ia.bsky.social and @haesleinhuepf.bsky.social previous work.

Depends for what I guess, I'm using Codeium for coding, using the free version and I'm quite happy with it so far.

Registration opens at the end of January until 2025-03-16.
You will be informed of your participation on 2025-04-07.

As is our signature, programming knowledge is not required 💻, but an eagerness to learn is welcome! What is important is your biological question and a motivating cover letter to get your application noticed!

Hands-on sessions will be dedicated to well-established open source tools ⚙📚 with an emphasis on creating reproducible workflows.

25 candidates will join our amazing group of instructors locally sourced (through SwissBIAS, and across Europe), and tool developers in order to work with modern bioimage analysis tools🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
