This is the headline item from Ed Miliband’s speech later this morning, but I am looking forward to seeing what else is in it - have heard some interesting rumours. Almost every announcement out of DESNZ is good, so maybe this will be a good news day!

Gas sets the electricity price, so wind and nuclear are sold at higher gas-driven rates, cutting that link could lower bills.

The far-right and a dry stone wall a viral video promoted by racists is not what it seems

There is a viral video going around on X and Facebook which has been seized on by the far-right.

It claims to show a young British Asian destroying a dry stone wall.

But as so often with such ragebait, the video isn't what it seems.

Here is my, probably forlorn, attempt to correct the record.

Out waking the dog today, I spoke to a guy who was out doing nature photography.

We stood talking for a while and he pointed out a Nuthatch flying into this hole in a tree and feeding his wife.

It was absolutely magical to see and something the majority of people would probably miss!

It was great! Reminded me why I love Alan Garner.
