Hey #runners #ultrarunners who has written on the rise of people centering a journey narrative on a “why”? Where did we get this idea that we need a “why” to go do stuff? It strikes me as repackaging of an old idea but I can’t put my finger on it.

Not going to your city council meetings? They let anyone speak on any topic. Which countries make the weather? Should we plant more trees? How much notice do unhoused people deserve for evacuation? Can we get more public comment periods on the city’s studies?
