I had a great time this morning exploring @rammuseum.bsky.social. Especially nice, from my point of view, was seeing how great the museum guides and staff were with the school groups who were in. Love to see museums engaging with the community and spreading the love of history.
We went to the Grayson Perry exhibition in @rammuseum.bsky.social and I didn’t take any photos because I was moved to tears by the storytelling and emotion in the Julie Cope tapestries. So here are someone else’s photos.
If you’re near Exeter, go and see.

a tall medieval puzzle jug, the base and spout in the shape of a long-necked animal (described as a 'donkey' but with an exaggeratedly long neck). The neck of the jug itself is in the shape of a building with figures of people emerging from windows. There are carvings and holes throughout the jug neck. It is decorated with green and yellow patterns.
Pottery fans, this one’s for you!
Tonight the #GreatPotteryThrowDown contestants are taking on one of the quirkiest challenges in ceramic history: the puzzle jug 🏺✨
