This was written a lot better and stuff but I accidentally closed the tab and deleted all I'd like written. Obviously I don't know if any of this is helpful, I'm mostly just pointing out that connecting Goidelic Celts and Rome is a little tricky in comparison to the Brythonic Celts.

The Brythonics have a lot of fairy folklore from before the Roman occupation of Britain (such as the Mabinogi). I think the Roman Emperor of Magnus Maximus or Macsen Wledig would be of interest to you. He's from the later 4th century, so just before the Visigoths and came from Britain.

I am curious, where is this immortal from specifically. Goidelic refers to Irish/Scottish if I'm correct and I think both of those had limited interactions with Rome. It was mostly Brythonic Celts who interacted with Rome. Meaning you might want to focus on Welsh and Cornish.

My Raven & Bear collection doesn't feature a lot of romance just yet. However, I did some sapphic foreshadowing in Proof Heraldic!

Sadly no, there's like nothing involving contracts or deals or anything like that. It's chill though, just going to wait for stuff that actually works.

Did some editing for The Eisteddfod (Raven & Bear: 6) today, happy to report my recollection of it was wrong. I remember struggling with this story but it has a very strong start.
