Hareholme & Waterfoot vote change
Yes of course. This is why we recommended Greens in Hareholme & Waterfoot just last week. It used to be a Labour seat. But we understood the local situation, took this into account, and helped the Greens beat Reform there (by 54 votes!) with Labour fairly behind in third place.

We don't have a crystal ball so we aren't going to be 100% accurate. This is logical.
If Southampton beat Arsenal in the FA Cup does that mean the bookies are frauds? Of course not.

We're disappointed to have made an incorrect call here, but very pleased Reform didn't win.
It's an opportunity to improve and adjust how we make decisions in similar elections in future.
We do get the majority of these right, but that doesn't mean there's no room to get even better - and we will!

Labour were 2nd a year ago with almost twice as many votes as the Greens who were 4th.
We identified that both Labour and Greens were targeting this ward heavily, but their past performance here (and nearby) gave Labour the edge.
