I recommend completely avoiding this rabbit hole. They use confusing language that doesn't make sense because it doesn't make sense.

And whether or not congenital limb aplasia triggers as much pain as phantom pain after limb loss is in no way evidence that pain requires nociception. Also, pain is an EXPERIENCE. Not just a sensation, not just a perception. Both & more. 👋🏼😁
