Prepping some batts for a #tourdefleece sweater spin. All colors were dyed by me (: and all except for the neon green were naturally dyed with marigold, madder and indigo.

The base of the batt is some superfine and medium #shetland

I’m planning on a 3 ply for a somewhat fitted cabled sweater since I tend to spin all 2 ply and wanted to try something different. I think I’m leaning towards the more blue/green one. Thoughts?

So I’ve been experimenting with blending them with some medium white shetland as a less sproingy/fine base, and then adding some naturally dyed misc locks (mostly Navajo-Churro). Now I can’t decide which of the two blends I like more!

I’ve been sampling for a TdF sweater spin. I have these super fine gray shetland batts, but they’re pretty neppy and I didn’t enjoy trying to spin them on their own.

OBSESSED with my new wheel. She is so smooth and easy to spin (supported) long draw, which is my preference, and just pretty to look at.
