Idk if this is because I usually write short things, but I find that I can never figure out what should happen, if enough is happening, etc.

people who have written a book... how do you figure out the middle? I have a general outline and am able to write the beginning and thr climax through the end, but feel lost in the rising action of it all.

ready to make some zines, restart my substack, and finish my novella draft... will the energy fizzle out?

I know that I it is likely I'll have a depressive episode again. I'll probably have to switch medications again. But in writing I can explore those feelings and make sense of life when my brain doesn't make sense.

Writing is one of the only ways I can make sense of having major depressive disorder and suicidal ideation. It's dark, sure, but I find that writing about gives me some power over the condition and reminds me how far I've come in treatment.

Finishing up revisions on Death Wish, vol. 2, so it will be ready for Charleston Zine Fest on July 9. So much new material for this one & I'm excited to share it -- and work on the design.

I got stung by a fire ant yesterday and one of the worst parts is I have to take Benadryl to combat the itchiness and burning sensation... but now I'm too sleepy to write!

Ok, so I have a memoir project, a novel revision, and a novel first draft I'm working on. Any advice from the #writercommunity on how to manage multiple projects at once?

Do you pick one and stick with it? Work on each based on some kind of regular schedule? Just vibe out?

My partner, who does endurance sports, has longer training sessions in the summer, which means I have longer writing sessions! In the fall/winter, I find myself "squeezing in" writing around life responsibilities and peak running training for autumn races.
